Mr K Bryant (Chair of the Governing Body): I have been a member of the Governing Body of Ludlow Junior and now Ludlow Primary for several years having close association with both the former Infant and Junior Schools. I am particularly interested in the standard of education we provide so that our children have every opportunity to flourish as adults. I Chair the Standards Committee and have a special interest in the teaching of mathematics and religious education which is about helping our children to live in a diverse society and not about promoting religion.

Mr B Whitmarsh (Vice Chair and Co-opted Governor): I sit on the Standards and Curriculum committee. I'm link governor for the Foundation curriculum and have been a school governor for 8 years. I have had 3 children at the school. Declaration of Interest : Child at the school

Mr N Stephens: I was a teacher at Ludlow County Junior School for most of my teaching career. I left to become Headteacher of a primary school in Shropshire, a post held until retirement from full-time teaching. I am a Methodist local preacher, a councillor on Craven Arms Town Council and an Honorary Alderman for Shropshire. My present link governor roles are Health & Safety and SEND.

Ms D Atkinson: I was elected as a co-opted governor 2 years ago to support the governing body in their financial accountability duties. I am headteacher of Gorsley Goffs Primary School in Ross –on-Wye, Herefordshire and have been in education for 22 years and very much enjoy the challenges! My philosophy is that all children should receive the very best education possible; enabling them to reach their full potential whilst enjoying their learning journey. During my teaching career, I have taught Early Years right through to Year 6 and before joining Gorsley Goffs I was deputy headteacher at a large city school (600 pupils). Over the last three years, I have embraced the new challenges of executive headship as Gorsley Goffs federated with Lea C of E Primary School which has given me the experience to support Ludlow Primary with the amalgamation. I very much enjoy my role as governor and take great delight in seeing the school go from strength to strength.

Ms N Stewardson: I have had children at Ludlow Primary School since 2011 and have always enjoyed helping out where I can, be it on the PTA, listen to children read or helping on school trips. In 2018 I became a parent governor.
I have 3 children who have all started their education at Ludlow Primary from the the age of 2years old, progressing through to year 6.
I have worked for Teme Leisure since 2000 as a Marketing Manager and oversee Swimming and Membership programmes, staffing and customer care. Leisure, Physical Education and generally encouraging children's fitness and well-being is a particular interest of mine. I also sit on the Standards committee and am the linked governor for writing.

Ms J Thomas: I became a school Governor primarily as my three daughters attended the school; they have now progressed to senior school but I have continued as a governor. I have a particular interest in reading and safeguarding, as I feel both areas are extremely important.
