Acorns Pre-School forms part of the exciting Early Years Foundation Stage department at Ludlow Primary School, alongside Little Buds Nursery and the Reception classes.  We are a setting taking children from the age of 3 years.  We have our own self-contained, spacious facilities together with a large natural outdoor area.  We have full access to all school facilities including Forest Schools.  We have a nurturing, supportive and experienced team of staff who value each child as unique and independent learners.  Our provision is child-led which means that staff continually observe, assess and interact with children to get a comprehensive grasp of their stage of development, unique styles of learning and areas of interest.  It is important to us that all parents are actively encouraged to be involved in their child’s education and we place great importance on communication between the setting and home.

We understand that choosing the right setting for your child is an extremely important decision. We feel that the best way to get a true feel for what we can offer at Acorns Pre-School is for you and your child to come and visit us and meet our children and staff. Please contact the school office if you would like to come and see us.

We are open term time – Monday to Friday – 8.55 am to 2.55 pm.  We offer quality morning, afternoon or full day sessions.

All 3 to 4-year-olds in England can get 570 hours of free early education or childcare per year. It’s usually taken as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. Working parents may be eligible for 30 hours nursery funding subject to criteria and for more information please contact the school office.
